  8. Mascot “Pak Pak” Pak Pak" comes from Macau's famous Guia Hill where there are lots of Fir trees, also the site of the oldest lighthouse on the China coast – the Guia Lighthouse. "Pak Pak" is a friendly squirrel that is very everything!

  11. History • The Games that began in the year 1993 under the East Asian Games Association. • It promote a strong sporting culture. • The Games are the hopes and dreams of the East Asian people. They show their sporting talents in the Games. • The Games exemplifies the ideals of companionship and friendship among different cultures through sports.
