Unlicenced athletes must wear a temp licence number on the front. In addition to Overall (Open) prizes, participants will only be eligible for an age category prize in the age category they enter. Athletes competing for a Category Prize must wear age category tags (on the front and the back). Proof of age is required for category prizes. Participants must be 16 years or older on the day of the race. Entry cards must be in the athlete’s possession during the race. No personal seconding will be permitted. Refreshment tables with water and / or coke will be provided every 3km. Prize giving will start after the race, but not later than 10h00, irrespective if all athletes completed the race. Runners will participate in this race at their own risk and agree to abide by the rules of the race. This race is run according to the rules of Athletics South Africa and Boland Athletics. Medals, Gold first 5 men & woman, Silver next 15 men & woman, Bronze next 400 athlete’s. All traffic officers and marshals must be obeyed. The race organisers reserve the right to accept or reject any entry. Foreign athletes must comply with IAAF Rule 4.2 and all relevant race and domestic rules. The athletes must be able to produce the letter from his/her federation permitting participation on race day. The Entry Fee is non-refundable. Parking is available at the finish.
