  2. Physical Appearance • The Oceans in Antarctica are Pacific,Indian,and Atlantic Ocean • Valcano-Mount Erebus Mountains and dry valleys • It is 5.4 million square miles • Coldest tempeture, strongest wind, driest climate and highest averge elevation of any other continent

  3. Political Appearance • The Hemisphere is located in the southern part of Antarctica.

  4. People&Animals • The animals that live in Antarctica are penguins, whales, haired seals, skuvas, and albatross. • Krill & ice cream are the only 2 foods found in Antarctica. • The only language spoken in Antarctica is mostly English. • No one lives in Antarctica.

  5. Interesting Facts • Dogs and non – native animals and plants were banned from the continent with the Antarctic conversation act of 1978. • The coldest temperature is 128.6 degrees below zero. • Ice burgs from Antarctica float North. • In Antarctica there is not enough food to support such large animals • For 1,000s of years, nobody knew that Antarctica lay hidden at the bottom of the globe.
