  3. Dear Reader, My writing has changed and grown from year to year. I used to write short stories and have a large imagination. Going through old items of my writing and looking back on the changes and progress from then until now has made me realize that I have lost that creativity in my writing. It was sad for me to see the lose of imagination; my writing now is just to complete an assignment! :( I have stopped writing for me and for the fun of creating a story, now I just get it done as fast as I can while keeping what is in my mind “A” quality work for school. It was fun to see some of the crazy spelling mistakes and miss written sentences from early years of writing. Also the topics of my writing were rather funny because I would love to know what I was thinking and how I created those ideas in my head! :) All in all looking back on how I used to write and how my creativity came out in my writing made me realize how I want to get back to that. It has made me want to enjoy writing again and stop writing for the sole object of completing an assignment. These are lessons my parents and teachers have most likely been telling me since almost birth, but it has taken me until now to finally realize….maybe their right!! But don’t go telling them that! :)
