This project aims to investigate neurogenesis and apoptosis in a chronic mild stress model using immunohistochemical analysis, focusing on brain regions like the hippocampus, amygdala, and prefrontal cortex. The study involves team workpackages for brain dissection, pharmacological treatments, gene expression analysis, and PC12α2 cell differentiation assessment. Methods include qRT-PCR, Western blotting, in situ hybridization, and manipulation of β-arrestins, Nrf2, and CREB.
