Process for Planning • First I choose a comprehension focus. • Pick a book that your students can read independently (day 1). • Choose 2 more titles you can use for the remainder of the week that focus on the teaching point (day 2-3 traditional read aloud). • Integrate writing (day 4). • Demonstrate comprehension using technology (day 5).
