Gujral Punjab Technical University (initially called the Punjab Technical University) is a premier institute providing quality education in the fields of information technology, management, and engineering. The Punjab Technical University (PTU) was renamed after former Prime Minister the late I. K. Gujral in recognition of his contribution towards the development and prosperity of Punjab. As of 2021, 290 colleges are affiliated to the university and it provides education to more than 1.5 lakh students from India and 30 foreign countries. The academic offerings at the IKGPTU Notes are divided into three schools The School of Information Technology The School of Management The School of Engineering IKGPTU offers undergraduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) degrees in technology, management, and engineering.
