  14. Strengths of the Consortium • Wide selection of courses in different areas of technology; • Students and faculties discovered new ways of working and studying and learned how the systems work in Canada and Europe; • Real investments of the students who participated in the project during and after their exchange; • Good collaboration between consortia members, a positive working atmosphere was created during the consortium meetings; • New places for Canadian students to study, which were not possible before the project, and vice versa.

  15. Weaknesses of the Consortium • Two institutions were francophone, i.e. difficult for the other partners to send students; • Some institutions havereceived more students than others; • Difficult for the project partners to motivate their colleagues at their home institution to take initiatives in the project; • Each consortium membershad to carry the whole project often alone at his/her home institution; • Excessive workloads and lack of time; • Lack of motivation due to the end of such programs by the government.
