In this article, Nia Robinson and Georgia Kett challenge the notion that single-sex schooling enhances academic success. They argue that separating students by gender does not positively impact grades or learning abilities. Instead, the authors believe the idea stems from a perception that boys and girls distract each other. To support their hypothesis, they incorporate surveys and a video showcasing opinions from children and teachers about single-sex schooling. Their findings spark a conversation on the effectiveness of coed versus single-sex educational environments.
