  2. Meet The Teacher • Graduated from Washington, IA • Attended Kansas City Kansas Community College while playing basketball • Graduated from Missouri Western State University in 2014, still playing basketball. • I am very involved with the community!

  3. My Goals • Make learning fun! • Teach the children how to cooperate; to become teammates. • Character Counts! • Trustworthiness • Respect • Responsibility • Fairness • Caring • Citizenship

  4. What Will The Students Learn? • Letters, Numbers • Holidays • Healthy Eating Habits • Phone numbers/Addresses • Music, Art

  5. Projects This Year! • The Students and I will be going on 2 Field Trips! • Lake Darling State Park • IMAXMuseum • Plant a Tree! • Help out in our school garden

  6. Communication • Communication through the PURPLE FOLDER • Students will take this home every night. • Put notes in this folder such as: • Changing arrangements home from school • Leaving early • Appointment notes • Anything I should know about the kids attendance!

  7. Behavior Expectations • Children must show all of the Character Counts Traits • Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship • Expectations from the parents • Respect • Trust • Honesty
