Bell Work Verb Types • Plain Verbs- require the signer to specify the subject and the object. • Ex: run, take-care, [grow up], live • Inflecting Verbs (Directionality)- allows the signer to indicate the subject and object by changing the direction of movement of the sign. • Ex: help, give, show, tell, ask • Spatial Verbs-the signer changes the direction of movement of the sign to indicate location; must specify the object and subject. • Ex: move
Money Numbers • Money numbers have their own distinctive form. • Use the sign CENT and the number. Some signers may fingerspell CENT • The form for “1 dollar” is similar to the ordinal number “first” but with a bigger twist of the wrist & a bigger arc than the ordinal number • You may have to rely on context to distinguish between “first” and “1 dollar”
Math Problems • Create 10 math problems • 5 should be addition • 5 should be subtraction

They enjoy getting together to chat and play games. • Luis is half Black and half Latino and lives in Texas. He has a big family with three sisters and one brother. Luis and his brother are Deaf.
