    2. Rosa Parks Feb.4,1913- Oct.24,2005 She got thrown into jail because she didn’t give her bus seat up to a white person. Rosa Parks went across the nation making speeches to make a difference and she did.

    3. Rosa Parks Rosa eventually received many honors ranging from the 1979 Spingarn Medal to the Congressional Gold Medal,a posthumous statue in the United States Capitol’s National Statuary Hall,and the posthumous honor of lying in honor at the Capitol Rotunda

    4. Her mom taught her how to read before she was in school. Rosa Parks died Oct.24,2005. In 1932,Rosa married Raymond Parks,a barber from Montgomery,at her mother’s house.
