  2. NamingNanking • Historians have come up with many names for the Japanese attack on Nanking. They include the Nanking Incident, the Nanking Massacre, the Invasion of Nanking, and the Rape of Nanking. What DO YOU think historians should call the Japanese attack on Nanking? Choose one of the above, or CREATE YOUR OWN NAME! Write 1-2 sentences explaining why.
