  1. Graphing the Current Reality * Groups of 4 * Make a graph of the current reality in your classroom and teaching practice as it relates to the Common Core Learning Standards for ELA. * Each person has one color of post-it notes. Label 10 post-its with #’s from 1-10 (corresponding to the 10 questions on the current reality handout). * Begin with question 1. Take one minute to think and choose where you feel you are on the continuum (1-4). Every member should place their post-it note on the graph for question 1. * Go onto the next question in the same manner. Allow space for discussion as you post the notes or after all questions when the graph is complete. Slide adapted from a presentation by Liz Irwin, AUSSIE Consultant.
