Status of Compressor Parts • Curved Blade Impellers • Balancing completed and parts returned • Extra Motor and Controller Ordered • Should arrive September 5th • Extra controller in rotation • Straight Blade Impeller • Being sent to American Hoffman for balancing • Inlet Guide Vane • Received from 3-Dimensional Engineering

  3. Status of Compressor Parts • Collector • Manufactured and assembled with pipe flanges • Ready for attachment to mass flow meter

  4. Compressor Testing • Motor Characterization • Free Spin Power Test

  5. Compressor Testing Issues • Controller Problem • Occurred after free spin test • Received new controller from Koford • Ran motor since and new controller works

  6. Compressor Testing • Blank Shaft Testing • Bearing and coupler losses • Shaft Alignment

  8. Future of Compressor Development • Run coupler and bearing test • Attach pressure and temperature transducers • Run compressor with curved and straight blade impellers • Compare results of both impellers
