Safe Food and Feed: Results from the Szeged-Timisoara Cross-Border Cooperation Program
This report presents the results from the Szeged-Timisoara axis under the Hungary-Romania Cross-Border Cooperation Programme (2007-2013). Focusing on the safe production of food and feed, the research analyzed wheat samples for mineral content using AAS and ICP-OES techniques. Sampling was conducted in summer 2010, followed by analyses in autumn. The data revealed significant differences in mineral content between resistant and sensitive wheat lines, highlighting the importance of genetic traits in agricultural practices.
