  1. FIRST AID COURSES EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK (6 HOUR COURSE) MEETS HSE REQUIREMENTS This is a must have qualification for any individual. It is the very basic first aid course that can be used in your place of work, in home or when you are out and about. Employers have a duty of care to provide first aid to any person within their employment who has an accident or becomes ill whilst at their place of work according to the Health and Safety Regulations (updated 2015). COURSE OUTLINE: - Introduction and explanation. - First aid health and safety regulations. - Learn about the priorities of first aid and how to manage an incident safely. - Treatments of unconsciousness, Shock, bleeding and common workplace injuries. - Combination of practical and theory sessions to deal with first aid emergencies. - Learn how to administer first aid in a variety of situations.

ASSESSMENT: All candidates are continually assessed by the trainer during this 6 hour course and all successful candidates will be awarded with an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate which lasts for a period of 3 years. Employers can choose to do yearly refresher training courses for their staff to keep up to date with current legislation.
