Everything has energy in it. It’s what makes things move faster, or feel really hot, or shine brightly. Why is energy important? Here, let me show you. Hello! Iamenergy! Iam all around, all the time even though you can’t see me.
First, let me show you what happens when I add energy to this bouncy ball. You see, the energy is causing the ball to bounce. Now, let me show you what else I can do. Don’t worry, energy cannot be destroyed. It can only be changed from one form to another. By hitting the other ball, I changed from bouncing energy to rolling.
I’m still here. I moved from the rolling ball to this windmill, and caused it to start spinning. Spinning the windmill changed me into electrical energy, so now I am able to power this light bulb and create light. Here is one last trick.
