  1. Family isn’t always family

  2. The Genre The genre being thriller makes it exciting and tense for the audience. It makes them want to watch the film to find out the unsolved mystery of the missing girl!

  3. The idea (Synopsis – whole film) • Girl is missing and its the search to find her. When they find her after 2 years she isn’t who she once was. She tells her story of what happened to her and describes the man. The man sounds and identifies to be her uncle who was always a concern in the family of being ‘different’. Over the two years he wasn’t present much other than on Christmas Day, each year he would ask about Holly and if they had any update of where she could be. This never made the family question him or make him sound suspicious. When they find out its him they report him immediately to the police but they said they were no proof or evidence to say he was the guilty one.

  4. The idea (Synopsis – opening Sequence) • A girl Holly is home alone as her mum dad and sister have gone out. A few hours pass and Holly gets a feeling someone is in the house, mysterious weird things start happening. Holly hid in a room in the closet and the man enters the room the girl had locked herself in and takes her away in his car. The parents return home to find she is gone, the hunt to find her begins. The opening sequence starts after they have found Holly and she is explaining what had happened and what the man looked liked. A flashback then happens of when she went missing and the immediate upset of her family mourning her loss. Within this scene would also show Christmas dinning when the uncle questions Holly’s loss and if there was any update.
