SEND code of practice: 0 to 25 years What is the Local Offer? 4.1 Local authorities must publish a Local Offer, setting out in one place information about provision they expect to be available across education, health and social care for children and young people in their area who have SEN or are disabled, including those who do not have Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans. In setting out what they ‘expect to be available’, local authorities should include provision which they believe will actually be available. The Local Offer

Clicking on the link takes you to an online form which is sent directly to the WIN Team The new ‘What’s On’ guide Search for events happening in and around the borough A shortlist of useful listings can be created whilst searching the directory. • A drop down menu of categories appears when the mouse cursor hovers over the link for the: • For Families and Young People • For Adults

  5. How to search the directory Enter a keyword that is related to the service or information you are searching for Enter your postcode or area to bring results back in distance order from your location

  6. To view all service listings which come under the Local Offer Click on the search button

  8. ‘Related Information’ directs you to other useful areas of the directory Local Offer information can be accessed through this section ‘Find Out More’ directs you to useful information on a variety of topics ‘Popular Links’ directs you to useful external websites Click on categories to find services and other useful information
