  1. 5/6 Sydney Excursion By Tiarah, Jessica and Livvy.

  2. Leaving Wyee Public School Leaving our school and our family behind was fine with us because we were so excited with great anticipation. We said Good-Bye and got ready to go!!!!!!!

  3. Y hotel The bus dropped us off right in front of the Y Hotel we grabbed our bags and we got put into our rooms . The rooms were lovely and had a beautiful view. We unpacked our bags and got ready to go to Hyde Park for lunch. Our Rooms !!!!

  4. From the Y Hotel we went to Hyde Park to have lunch in front of a beautiful water fountain. Everyone was playing and having so much fun. Then we set off to the NSW art gallery. Hyde park

  5. We walked to the Art Gallery and on the way there we saw some statues . Then we got spilt into 4 groups. We put our bags down and went off in our groups. We saw paintings and artefacts. NSW Art Gallery

  6. Mr Piper State Parliament House An important aspect of our excursion was visiting State Parliament House and meeting our local member Mr. Greg Piper. He welcomed us on our arrival and told us that he was going to ask a question about water in the Hunter Region. After that we all looked and at the beautiful fountain in the middle of State Parliament House. When we got into parliament their was a lot of bantering between the two teams.   7. The rocks At the rocks we saw Cadman's cottage and we got to go inside. We saw the piping inside on the ground they used to walk on ,their fire place and some other things . The girls went in first then the boys . When everyone came out look on everyone face was priceless.

  8. OMG !!!! We went to the Imax theatre to see Hubble 3D it took awhile before the movie started but it was worth the wait. At the start on the movie everyone tried to reach out and grab the stars which were coming towards us . Even some of the teachers were trying to grab some of the stars. It was an experience we will never forget !!

  9. Yum Yum After the Imax, we walked in the rain all the way to china town. We didn’t go to a restaurant, we went to a food court in a shopping centre. Many people liked the food a lot and they will never forget the experience.

  10. Get To Work !!! On the second day we went to Hyde Park Barracks to learn about what the convicts had to go through. First we went into an old classroom to put our bags away. Then we went to the cafe which used to be a torture room. Then we went to learn about the Cat of nine tails and the convicts punishments. Then we went inside to learn about all the other thing they had to go through. Cat of nine tails

  11. $$$$ Manly $$$$ We drove over to Manly beach where we had lunch provided for us by the Y-hotel. We had a sandwich, a piece of fruit and a cake. After everyone had finished eating we went over to the Manly shops, everyone got to go over to the shops on their own to buy what they wanted. We all had fun !!!!

  12. The ferry ride On the ferry ride back to Sydney Mrs Weekes was looking at what everyone brought. She even tried on millys sunglasses it was a fun trip to Sydney watching Mrs Weekes trying to get the right photo to her in the sun glasses. The Ferry

  13. The Four Season Walk After the ferry ride, walked to one of the ends of the harbour bridge. Then we started walking in beautiful sunshine. When we got to the first pillar we had a talk to Mr Behringer and while we were talking to Mr Behringer the weather changed to Gail winds. After the talk we tried to forget about the wind, but then it started to hail and finally torrential rain . At the end we were all drenched and some of us were laughing.

  14. Taronga zoo Next we went to Taronga zoo we split up in two groups like we did with the art Gallery. One group went to have dinner and the other group went into the reptile room and after a while the groups changed. When all the groups were finished we went to see the animals. Some people liked the bears but others liked the less harmful animals. At the end of the twilight safari we got to feed the Koy fish.
