Ruth Flood- Strong experience of delivery of business support programmes, around design & creativity. - Former Head of Evidence at UK Design Council (for 7 years).- Awareness of and involvement with policy landscape around creative industries and design. Currently working with E.g. Design Council / Creative Skillset / OECD- Leading research exercises focused on innovation landscape for E.g. Aston University, Department for Energy & Climate Change. • Colin McKeown- Over 25 years working at senior levels within the design industry. Undertaken design projects for a range of private and public sector clients, across all sectors including health, finance, retail, education and social projects. • Extensive experience in helping business develop products and services through branding. • Heavily involved in the debate at Government and policy level regarding the importance of the creative industries • for economic regeneration and social well being. • Member of the UK Design Alliance Advisory Board. • Chairman of the Northern Ireland Design Alliance. • Industry advisor for Creative and Cultural Skills. • Stem Ambassador for the Design Council, London. • Visiting design lecturer to the University of Ulster.

  8. 1. Marketing & Promotion Focused around how to make the most of your marketing and promotion activities – developing your strategy, learning from other case studies, buying design & marketing services

  9. 2. Identifying & Developing Networks Focused around talking to individual businesses re. the networks that they are part of, would like to be part of, tips on how to network, ideas for networks that they could be part of / develop

  10. 3. Application of Creativity Focused on teaching simple creative techniques to use in their day to day working, ways to build a supportive and creative work environment, general guidance for buying creative services
