  2. Business etiquette is defined as the "code of a polite society," according to Sharon Pierce-Williams of the Pi Sigma Epsilon fraternity. How well you observe the social norms of the business world has a direct correlation to how you communicate with potential clients. Also, people with good business etiquette tend have more confidence and be seen as more capable by their peers. What is Business Etiquette?

  3. Understand the difference between business etiquette and social etiquette. Business etiquette is genderless. In the work environment, men and women are peers. Your guiding principle should always be to treat people with consideration and respect. What is Business Etiquette?
