  3. This is an EASY one! • Capital IQ • It’s a given that you can get all this information for currently operating, public companies. • What about… recently-gone-private companies? Or long since deceased companies? Examples: • Evergreen Bancorp • Dell

  4. More easy resources • MergentOnline* • Offers annual & quarterly data • Easy-to-export/download • Special feature: “Include Auditor data” in the download function • Same examples: Evergreen Bancorp • Dell *Access it from a link on a library page

  5. Private companies • As we discussed in our Oct. 14 session – getting financial data for private companies is very hit-or-miss, but the place to try first is: • PrivCo ! • (and then, as usual – Capital IQ – of course! )
