  1. Our FoodserviceConcepts The following are the 8 concepts that we will continue to develop: (listed in no particular order)

  2. Globetrotter’sby Matt Garcia • Welcome to Globetrotter’s, a place that offers food from all over the globe. We offer a buffet with samples to let customers get a wide range of flavors. Each station is manned by a chef who plates the food and provides information about the dish.

  3. Not Your Grandma’s Cupcakesby Hannah Booher • Not Your Granny’s Cupcakes is a modern twist on traditional Southern desserts. Located in the heart of college square, NYGC caters to the average college student. Free Wi-Fi is also available to create a study-friendly atmosphere.

  4. The Sock Hopby Alyssa Gage • A “sock hop” is a high school dance commonly held in the 50’s & 60’s. People took off their hard-soled shoes and danced in their socks. My hope is that our dinner will offer a fun and safe gathering spot for today’s teenagers. We serve classic American food with a few modern twists. Every weekend, The Sock Hop transforms into a true sock hop, for young adults.

  5. BROS BBQBy Dy’Ante White • BROS BBQ brings the smokehouse to you. We drive around area neighborhoods Monday through Friday and set up in one spot on Saturday so we’re never too far away. Bros BBQ specializes in southern barbecue delicacies from ribs to variety of steaks. Catering is available.

  6. Heaven’s OwnBy Leslie Collins • Welcome to Heaven’s Own, where we serve a little slice of Heaven in every bite. Heaven’s Own is a small bakery in a big city. We specialize in just about every type of baked good you can think of; from the homemade Grandma’s chocolate chip cookies to the bacon-topped cheesecake.

  7. La IslaBy Hector LaSanta • Welcome to La Isla home of the Latin taste. We use original ingredients and traditional recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. When you come La Isla, you will be welcomed into the culture and flavor of my Island, Puerto Rico.

  8. Blue DolphinBy Nici McLeod • Blue Dolphin is a casual seafood restaurant located off the coast. The dinning room is surrounded by our beautiful salt-water aquarium. The menu features a wide variety of seafood preparation such as, Maryland-style crab cakes, New Orleans jambalaya, and sushi. We use eco-friendly business practices and we donate a portion of our profits to charities that care for sea life.

  9. Fezz’sBy Edward Williams • This gastro pub features a seasonal menu comprised of locally grown ingredients. The staff of skilled chefs prepare a variety of delicious fare including specialty salads and original entrees. On Wednesday night, the restaurant turns into a dinner theater, showcasing classic cinema.

  10. Benevolent’s KitchenBy Reba Anderson • Benevolent’sKithcen was created to help hard-working families come together every night to spend precious quality time with each other around the dinner table. We are located downtown for pick-up, but also offer delivery to over four counties! We use a portion of our proceeds to distribute meals to members of our community who are in need.
