  3. Finding a Missing Side: • a2 + b2 = c2 • What if we know side a and side c?

  4. Let’s Try These: • a = 5, b = ?, c = 9 • a = ?, b = 12, c = 15

  5. Converse of Pythagorean Theorem: • If a = 8, b = 9, and c = 12; is this a right triangle? • If a = 15, b = 20, c = 25; is this a right triangle? If a2 + b2 = c2 then the triangle is a right triangle

  6. Practice Time: • Workbook pg. 125 • Problems 1-11 • Write out equations and show your work!
