  1. Fall Portfolio Presentation Student’s Name Date (Optional)

  2. Agenda • List all of the things you will talk about in the order you will be talking about them. You may need to change the layout of this slide to accommodate all topics.

  3. Project Work (Title of Project goes Here) • You should have one slide for each project that you will be talking about. Each slide should have a title. Do not fill up the slide, but rather have bullet points that include the following: • Purpose or objective of the project • Picture and/or hyperlink (Optional) • Grade received on project • What you learned. . . • Be sure to elaborate and the bullet points are just guides so that you don’t forget.

  4. Academic Goal Work • This is where you have bullet points for the following: • State goal • Give the actual goal you earned • You will also need a graph of your GPA. This can be on the same slide or a separate slide. • Discussion points (This should be something that is verbal and not on your PowerPoint): • strategies you used to reach your goal • strategies you will implement to reach the next goal • if you did not reach your goal discuss why

  5. Academic Goal Graph • Use this slide to create your academic goal graph. • Click on the graph and then click on “Edit Data” on the toolbar. • Enter your GPA data. • You may use this column for bullet points or delete it to make your graph occupy the whole slide.

  6. Citizenship Goal Work • This is where you have bullet points for the following: • State goal • Give the actual goal you earned • You will also need a graph of your infraction points. This can be on the same slide or a separate slide. • Discussion points (verbal and not on your PowerPoint): • strategies you used to reach your goal • strategies you will implement to reach the next goal • if you did not reach your goal discuss why. • why having good citizenship is important to you and how it relates to the community

Citizenship Goal Graph • Use this slide to create your behavioral goal graph. • Click on the graph and then click on “Edit Data” on the toolbar. • Enter your infraction data. • If you have more than 20 or fewer than -10 points, ask me about changing the y-axis. • You may use this column for bullet points or delete it to make your graph occupy the whole slide.

  8. Community Service • This is where you have bullet points for the following: • State goal • Give the actual goal you earned • List your service tasks and site(s) • You will also need a graph of your hours. This can be on the same slide or a separate slide. • Discussion points (do not put this in the PowerPoint, but be sure to verbally discuss): • where you did your community service • why community service is important to you • how it will make you a better person • how it has made an impact on your life.

Community Service Graph • Use this slide to create your community service graph. • Click on the graph and then click on “Edit Data” on the toolbar. • Enter your GPA data. • If you have more than 120 hours, ask me about changing the y-axis. • You may use this column for bullet points or delete it to make your graph occupy the whole slide.

  10. Advisory • This slide is where you should discuss your Advisory experience. Your bullet points may cover the following: • Purpose or objective of Advisory • How you have used your Advisory time • Character education topics that you would like to discuss • TMA guiding principles that you would like to discuss • Be sure to elaborate on the bullet points and remember that the bullet points are just guides so that you don’t forget.

Tips Slide • This slide is just to give you tips and should be deleted from the presentation. • Make sure your slides are uniform and professional. • Any pictures or clip art used should be relevant to the slide. • Use animations and transitions for your slide. • Do not put a timer on it because you do not want to rush through your presentation. • Use bullet points and fragments—complete sentences are not necessary in the PowerPoint because you will elaborate about each slide. • Read all rubrics carefully to see what you need to do to exceed in each category.
