  2. Define Legacy • As a individual legacy means that me is something being started and being passed down from a older person to a younger person. For example my grandmother gives her youngest grand child a chain and they wear it until they have kids and pass the chain to they child. Legacy in a community would be that they have a block party every first Sunday of the month. Or legacy in a city would be that they have a city wide meeting once a year, and they do it every year.

  3. Woman's Rights • Legacy was left with this event because before this allows woman to do things that men can do. Men and woman have equal rights and with woman rights woman can work in factories or do construction, anything as men.

  4. W.E.B. Dubois • A legacy that W.E.B Dubois left was that he wanted all black kids to go to school. Not only at a black school but anywhere, he wanted equal education rights for colored children. He fought for this for a long time and he eventually got the right for colored children to be educated.

  5. Booker T. Washington • Booker T. Washington left the memory that black kids can be educators, authors, or orators. He's very inspirational to people of color. He showed people that not only one kind of race can read and write. All of them can do it including colored people.

  6. Summary • The major points of slides 3-5 were that woman wouldn’t have equal rights if it wasn’t for the woman rights movement. Black children wouldn’t be educated if it wasn’t for the help of W.E.B. Dubois. Also colored people wouldn’t have the inspiration to be authors and teachers if it wasn’t for Booker T. Washington.

  7. Legacy I Want to Leave • Legacy I want to leave is that kids can do whatever they want if they put their mind to it. I want kids to have hoop dreams and dreams about making it to the NBA or any professional sports. I want them to know that you can make it from the hood, or you can get college scholarships from a public school. You don’t have to go to a prep school to succeed . You can do it from a public school. School comes first before any sports without grades you cant go to college 
