Adani Collaborates With ISKON For Mahaprasad Seva At Maha Kumbh
The Adani Group and ISKCON have recently joined hands for the mahaprasad seva at the Pragyagraj Maha Kumbh. The mahaprasad seva will be offered during the entire span of the Maha Kumbh Mela which will be held from 13th January to 26th February. It will be distributed at 40 places in the Maha Kumbh area. Over 2,500 volunteers will be involved in the entire process. This highlights the Adani Group’s commitment towards social responsibility. With this step, the Adani Group will be able to extend its support to those people who have been devoting themselves to offering seva to God. The Adani Group Joins Hands With ISKON To Provide Free Meals To The Devotees: The Adani Group and the International Society for Krishna Consciousness have recently joined hands to offer meals to the devotees at the Maha Kumbh Mela which will be held at Prayagraj this year. This mahaprasad seva will be offered for the complete duration of the Maha Kumbh Mela. In order to thank ISKCON for this initiative, the chairman of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani, has met Guru Prasad Swami who is the chairman of the ISKCON governing body committee. Gautam Adani has also talked about ISKCON’s support in offering the mahaprasad seva.
Gautam Adani mentioned that the Kumbh is a sacred place of seva and every devotee gets involved in the event for offering seva to God. He considers it to be his good fortune that he is able to become a part of the Mahaprasad seva event and offer his service to the devotees at the Maha Kumbh. He mentioned in collaboration with ISKON, free food will be provided as a part of the event to lakhs of devotees. He also expressed his gratitude for being able to meet Guru Prasad Swami of ISKON. He mentioned that the experience was a highly rejuvenating one; he also experienced the power of dedication towards seva.
Now this is not the first time the Adani Group has involved itself in charitable ventures. Even with the controversies of Adani SEBI investigations ongoing, the group has taken up several ventures which are aimed at promoting culture and ensuring the lives of the people change for the better. The group has plans to take similar ventures in the upcoming years as well which will promote diversity and cultural abundance.
