  3. Roadmap to OLSRv8 • Implementors comments: • "Neighbor sensing with multiple interfaces is complicated" • "I do not need {multiple interfaces| willingness| tc-reduncancy|*}, is there no 'minimal' version like OLSRv4?"

  4. Neighbor sensing -> link sensing • Currenly: • neighbor sensing based on "nodes with interfaces" • Proposed: • link-sensing, then reduction to "nodes with links" • Advantages: • that's what implementors thought anyways, • simplifies both the neighbor sensing and the MPR selection text, • with only one interface: OLSR looks like "OLSRv4", • basically the same functionality as currently.

  5. Doccument Structure • "Basics" - core of protocol spec: • single-interface, traditionel MPR selection • "Advanced" • annex with multiple interfaces, willingness etc. • NOTICE: • descriptive changes, no opererational changes.
