BSO Schedule Battlefield Marching Bobcats Monthly Highlights Please Read E-Mails This was sent 13 Aug • August: • 11th-15th Guard & Drumline Camp---8:00am-12:00pm • 18th -22nd All members band camp---8:00am-9:00pm • 25th-29th All members band camp---6pm-9pm only • 27th -29th Uniform fittings (Volunteers needed, contact Lynn Johnson) ????? • Gain information about the band, planned events; sign up to chaperone for the many events; meet old/new friends • Wed., 27th Band Parent Meeting Night---7:30pm • Fri., 29th Marching Bobcat Performance Preview & Picnic 7:30pm • September: • **Note: Practices will be held on Tues. & Thurs. 6pm-8pm; Wed. 2pm-5pm • Tues. 2nd BSO Meeting (usually the 1st Monday of each month, unless it’s a holiday) • Executive Mtg. 6:30 General Membership Mtg. 7:30pm • Sat., 6th BSO Tag Day • Sat., 13th Hylton Band Competition • Fri., 19th 7:30pm Football Game • Band members generally arrive by 5:30; arrival times may vary • Sat., 20th Haymarket Day Parade • Milbrook Band Competition • Fri., 26th 7:30pm Football Game • Sat., 27th All day competing: • North Stafford High School • Hermitage High School in Richmond, VA • October: • **Note: Practices will be held on Tues. & Thurs. 6pm-8pm; Wed. 2pm-5pm • Sat., 4th Charlottesville Competition (all day) • Fri., 10th 7:30pm Homecoming Football Game • Ads for the VBODA program Due • Sat., 18th Lee Davis Competition • Fri., 24th 7:30pm Football Game • Preparations for VBODA—cleanup, setup, etc. • Sat., 28th VBODA Day at Battlefield • Volunteers are needed in all areas: contact Lance Kilby • November: • **Note: Practices will be held on Tues. & Thurs. 6pm-8pm; Wed. 2pm-5pm • Fri., 7th Football Game • Sat., 15th Spirit Day at Slopers • December: • Sat., 6th District Band Auditions • Manassas Christmas Parade (probably not) • ***Please be sure to check the band web site for all your up to date information: www.battlefieldbands.com or www.battlefieldbands.org.
