Academic Pillar Strategy • Midterm counseling for at-risk cadets • Promoting the proper ESP environment • Facilitating internships for career development through special leave • Ensuring communication between AO and company leadership
Military Assessment • Needs Practice • Strengths • Few Class 1 offenses • Empower subordinates • Weaknesses • Bearing • Prioritization of standards, i.e. MRIs and having “no time” • Use of chain of command
Military Pillar Strategy • Seniors must empower their NCOs- verify accountability • NCOs must hold their subordinates accountable, even when unpopular • Building platoon integrity- PLs, PSs must be part of the counseling/disciplinary process
Moral-Ethical Assessment • Trained • Strengths • Few major incidences • Actual incidences were isolated • Weaknesses • Problem cadets are difficult to work with • Issue of professional relationships
Moral-Ethical Pillar Strategy • Make the standards accessible and clear to all cadets • Encourage high personal standards in intrapersonal relationships- leading by example • Work with problem cadets through counseling and mentorship
Physical Effectiveness Assessment • Needs Practice • Strengths • Highly motivated rising leadership • Encouraged creativity/variety in PT routine • Weaknesses • Low morale during PT • Lack of upward communication
Physical Effectiveness Pillar Strategy • Have PT plan prepared a week in advance to improve communication • Will allow cadets to plan personal workouts around company schedule • Will ensure effective execution • Assist cadets struggling with PT, i.e. go running with them, promote healthy lifestyle
Company Commander/TAC Comments • Victor is still a “new” company • Developing culture • No toleration of harassment or hazing • Can have issues of finding pride in itself • Needs to build healthy traditions to establish itself
