  1. Agricultural Location Directions • Give each student one of the four Agricultural Location Research handouts (slides 2-5). The students will complete the research on each of their five agricultural crops for homework. • Divide the students into groups of four based on the Agricultural Location Research handouts. Each group should have a #1, #2, #3, and #4. • Distribute the Agricultural Locations Activity handout (slide 6) and the twenty agricultural maps (slides 7-11). The map handouts work best if they are printed in color. • Students in their groups of four should use their completed Agricultural Location Research handouts to determine the best answer for each map. They should write their best answer on the Agricultural Locations Activity handout. • Use slides 12-32 to show the students the correct answer for each map. • Each group will receive one bonus point for every four correct answers. The group with the most correct answers will double their bonus points. Source: www.usda.gov/research/atlast02/index.html
