  20. Call Drivers of Note  Demographic locks due to summative testing  24-25 Initial ELPAC TBD values – Values are adjustable on the spreadsheet to match TBD students.  Retired Statewide Student Identifiers (SSIDs), showing active within TOMS 20

  21. Reminders

  22. Test Administration Reminders  For CAASPP, state and federal laws require all students to be assessed, and the only federally recognized exemption is a not tested medical emergency. – The 95 percent participation rate is an accountability concept. – Although parent/guardian exemptions are allowable, they will count against the participation rate.  For the ELPAC, state and federal laws require all eligible students to be assessed. 22

  23. ELPAC Reminders (1)  Note that Summative ELPAC K–2 Answer Books must be sent in for scoring. – It is not necessary to complete all student testing prior to returning test materials for scoring. – Answer Books must be scheduled for pick up by June 14, 2024, to be scored by ETS. – Boxes can be filled to capacity with Answer Books. Boxes can include Answer Books from multiple sites within the LEA as long as they are banded and separated with the Group Identification Sheet included. 23

  24. ELPAC Reminders (2)  Do not send nonscannable materials in the white boxes. Please wait to send nonscannable Answer Books back for destruction. – LEAs will be informed of when to send back nonscannable materials and the process to do so.  Note that the 2024–25 Initial ELPAC supplemental test materials ordering window is now open until June 6, 2025. – All LEAs must use 2024–25 materials. No materials from previous test administration years can be reused. 24

  25. ELPAC Reminders (3)  Check the completion status to ensure that the DEI for all K–12 Speaking scores have been entered prior to the end of the testing window. 25
