  9. Assignments/Homework: • Math is a subject that requires daily practice to build and retain skills and knowledge. As such, your child will have an assignment daily, with the exception of test days. • (On a test day, there is no assignment or homework.)

  10. Grade break down: 50% Tests 30% Quizzes 20% Homework 90 – 100 A 80-89 B 70-79 C 60-69 D 59-50 F

  11. Tutoring here at PUEBLO: For help: • Before school EVERY DAY in the library. 7:45 – 8:30 • M, T, W, F in classroom 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.

  14. Grade notification: • I will need your help by staying actively involved in your child’s education. I will do my part to keep you informed through the use of: • Email (email form) • Phone calls • Online grades • Hard-copies of grades every 5th week of each term. • These hard copies will require your signature and to be returned to me the following day.

Excellence in Math Contest! • Exciting, challenging and fun state math competition • First place in 2006, 2009 and 2011 -7th grade team • 2012-8th grade team • Second place in 2007 and 2008 -7th grade team • 2011 and 2012 - 8th grade team • The contest will be held on Saturday, 1/25/2014on the CGCC Pecos campus
