In 1992, direct satellite broadcasters were mandated to set aside 4% of their channel space for noncommercial educational and informational programming. CUSTOMER REVIEWS “The future of TV is NOW”

  6. Charlene NJ My bill reflected an increase. The customer service representative was professional, kind, and helpful. My ongoing discount was restored and without an increase in my blood pressure! Thanks for this rare experience! I have been a long-time DirecTV customer service user and have moved several times and continue to use DirecTV. They have normally been very good with getting me on some type of promotion to help with the cost. However, they no longer seem to have promotions. I have talked with several other DirecTV users and they are finding the same thing. So BEWARE. They will now offer you a promotion to connect but your bill will go up after that! I am currently looking for a new company – very disappointed in DirecTV.

  7. Sarah Sioux Falls

  8. Douglas Medison Their programming is pretty good. Of course, the more you get the higher the bill. But you can call yearly and complain, threaten to leave and they’ll knock a $150 bill down to $90 which is great but a pain to do. An overall score is 8 out of 10.

  9. I Love DirecTV, BUT after going under AT&T the prices have skyrocketed and continue to climb. They do offer discounts up to a year depending on what package you get. However, you will get sticker shock after those promos end. I have two other alternatives but they are also expensive. Looks like I’ll be cutting the cord soon and going to streaming services.
