  1. Guru Purnima Wishes for teacher 'Guru Purnima' as the name suggests, this day is dedicated to the teachers. Guru Purnima is celebrated to mark the birth ceremony of guru ved vyasa, the author of the holy book Mahabharata. What Guru means? Guru comes from two sanskrit words 'Gu + ru'. 'Gu' means ignorance or darkness and 'ru' means the removal of darkness. Gurus are named so because they remove the darkness from our lives by teaching us the right things and showing us the right path. Here are some Guru purnima wishes for teachers.
