  1. Calculating points via CRS Point Calculator The Comprehensive Ranking System or the CRS Point Calculator is a point-based system which is used in Express Entry Program of Canada Immigration, aiding in allocating points to the aspiring immigrants, who are seeking to settle in the maple leaf country, as per their skill set. The points under this system are allocated as per the preset criteria set out by the government of Canada under the immigration system. These criteria scrutinize every prospective of the aspiring immigrant's profile, to check out whether they’ll be the right person for their economic needs and how they can be a sanguine contributor in the same. Following are those criteria: Age Language Proficiency (IELTS or TEF) Adaptability Educational Qualification Work Experience Additional Points — Siblings in the country, Proficiency in French as a language, Provincial Nomination or employment that is arranged in nature. Once the aspiring immigrants possess the requisite points as this Canada Point System, their profiles are ranked accordingly in the Express Entry Pool. Profile that ranks the highest is awarded the final prize of the Canada PR Visa.

  2. The maximum points are 1200 out of which a cut-off score is released in every Canada Express Entry draw. These draws are being regulated by IRCC, who sets up the CRS point’s cut-off and finally issues the Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the relevant aspiring immigrants. The CRS Points Calculator has proved to be an important instrument and has played an inevitable part of the Canada Immigration System since its inception. It is this Canada Points System which manages the profile of skilled immigrants under the three major streams ofCanada Express Entry: Federal Skilled Trades Program Federal Skilled Worker Program Canadian Experience Class How much CRS score is required for Canada PR Visa under Express Entry Program? On approximately every fortnightly basis there is an Express Entry draw which aids in issuing the Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the aspiring immigrants who have scored relevant points as per the Comprehensive Ranking System i.e. the CRS Point System. The latest draw was held on 2nd October 2019 under which the minimum score accepted was 464, wherein the number of invitations issued was 3900. The aspiring immigrants, who had submitted their profiles at that point of time and have scored at and above par, were invited in this round of invitations. In a nutshell, the CRS Point System is a very good tool to judge the eligibility of the aspiring immigrants and lets them know that whether they’ll be able to reach the other end of the pipeline and finally cross the final finish line, invariably gaining the final prize of Canada PR Visa.
