Machines Won’t Understand Culture • Most Languages have a set of untranslatable words that are culture-driven • Machine Translators do not understand the following culture-driven parts of language: • Idioms and Phrases • Proper Nouns- Names • Slangs • These can be understood by Native Human Translators of that particular country • Human Translators possess the ability to relate and find suitable words to convey the message Crimson Interactive Inc.
