This is why advertising agencies have become a major institution in the fields of advertising and marketing. It is a must that the relationship between the advertiser and the advertising agency is harmonious. It is only when these two parties collaborate well with each other that the advertising function can be a success. The collaboration between the two is not restricted to what’s involved in creating the advertisements. It includes all the tasks involved in marketing communications. The advertiser or the firm and the advertising agency should come to an agreement on the many factors such as the theme development, message and copy development, and also with media selection. The truth is that companies run to advertising agencies because of their knowledge and specialized knowledge. There are those companies that don’t have their own marketing departments, and that’s why they rely on the depth of knowledge and experience that ad agencies can provide. The agencies should have access to many artists, writers, media suppliers, researchers, filmmakers, and other professionals.
