  3. Weather condition of Chennai Since Tuesday night, Chennai Weather and the surrounding districts have seen a lot of rain, which has caused low-lying areas to become flooded. December 2 and 3 are expected to see significant rainfall in Chennai and its surrounding districts, according to the regional meteorological department (RMD) in Chennai. It further stated that there is a chance of heavy rain in coastal areas. The meteorologist states that from November 29 to December 3, 2023, light to moderate rainfall is expected in many locations over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, with isolated heavy rain over the coastal and adjacent districts due to a cyclonic circulation over Sri Lanka and its surroundings 3
