THE PROJECT • The Rugby section celebrates its 10th anniversary • 30 national and international teams fight for the victory • As discipline next to the sporty qualification, there will be a „modern Rugby pentathlon“ embedded in the tournament • Social competences of individual players will be developed • The team emphasizes a body conscious and attractive play with hard tackles and creative moves • Values like friendship and team spirit represent the basic ideas of the prject „10 JAHRE RUGBY IN JENA“ • The ambition of every player is to represent Rugby in a positive way

  4. THE WORLD PLAYS RUGBY • We are a part of it • Rugby is a really dynamic and body conscious for everyone. FUTURE AIMS AND PLANS • sporty success as catalyst - ascension in the 2nd Bundesliga (2nd German league) • national und international tournament appearances • working together with young people as talent forge - foundation of a junior team (14 to 18 years of age) • professional organization as base - establishment of sponsor relationships - spreading of the degree of popularity of both teams - organizing the matchdays as events for the family - attracting players to increase the squad
