RIC is Ready to Compete with NATO In a bold geopolitical shift, the Russia-India-China (RIC) alliance is showing signs of evolving into a powerful strategic bloc that could potentially counterbalance NATO's dominance. Recent high-level diplomatic engagements between Moscow, Beijing, and New Delhi signal a renewed push toward a multipolar world order, with India emerging as a crucial pivot. The recent RIC trilateral meeting revived discussions on global security, economic cooperation, and regional stability. What’s striking is the increasing eagerness of both Russia and China to bring India firmly into their fold. As the West tightens its alliances through NATO expansion and Indo-Pacific strategies, Moscow and Beijing are reaching out to India—not just as a symbolic gesture, but as a strategic necessity. Why India? India brings economic weight, diplomatic neutrality, and a robust military to the table. Unlike China and Russia, India maintains good relations with Western nations, including the US and EU, while also being a key member of BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. This makes India a bridge between East and West, capable of influencing global narratives.
