  2. Harting Background • Established in 1945, starting with repairing workshop. Produced from Jukebox, cigarette vending machine to connector and fiber optic system from 1945 to 1980. • Industrial Ethernet Switch started from 2007 Nov together with another European company.

  4. Harting primary business is on connector, cables and RFID. Industrial Ethernet switch is the later product line joined in end of 2007. Current product line is mainly on TX copper ports and built-in Fiber ports which has no flexibility with fiber connection by using SFP. Harting SNMP firmware is tend to be L2 basic lacking the capacity of Ring which can be recovered in 10ms and other advanced features like IGMP query, QinQ, MSTP, SSH/SSL, Mac address filtering, Bandwith control etc for bigger network and large traffic.
