Tesla engines are electric, they don’t have an air intake that makes it absolutely sealed and waterproof. However, Musk strongly suggests never to submerge Tesla automobiles at all. Why does Tesla Car’s roof turn orange? By the way, if you are one of those people who were curious to know the reason why Tesla glass roofs get orangey. Here it is:It occurs when there is water on the roof and as the droplets are tiny, the color’s glimpse spreads over the roof. It's down to refraction of the rays via the layer of condensation. The rays traverse through the droplets at least twice that lead to change in direction to cause the UV-reflective layer to look orange in color.
