  1. Tour to Bir in Himachal Pradesh, India's Paragliding Capital jaadooghar.com/tour-to-bir-in-himachal-pradesh-2/ October 13, 2021 LOCATION KNOW-HOW Located at a distance of 4.7 kms from Ahju Railway Station and 68 kms from Kangra Airport, the property can be reached by getting a local taxi or bus from the station/airport. It can also be reached via road from Delhi, which is at a distance of 535 kms and makes for a good long weekend trip. It is located at a distance of mere 4 kms from Bir Market and 3.2 kms from Deer Park Institute, which are few of the main attractions in Bir. MEET YOUR HOST Your host Shashi is a guy who wears many hats – he is a musician, a traveller and an architect, also responsible for conceptualising the designs of the cottages here! Passionate about hosting and building, Shashi lives on the farm with his lovely Himachali family and is always available to help guests for any of their needs. Jaadooghar Recommends: Do not forget to try out the local delicacy Siddu prepared by Shashi’s mom for one of your meals and thank us later ? HOUSE RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE Please bear in mind that the property is a homestay in a remote village of Himachal. While we aim to give you the best of experiences, sometimes things here can take a bit longer than they would in a city. The nearest market is roughly a kilometre away where you can find provision stores for buying groceries and daily need items if you wish to cook in the kitchen. Meals can be purchased and paid for at the property itself. Meals consist of local homemade Kumaoni Cuisine. The meals depend on the raw material available locally. Jaadooghar Recommends: If you like cooking or do not wish to eat all meals outside, do stock up for your cooking before you get to the property. The kitchenettes are equipped with basic masalas, oil, pans, pots, cutlery etcetera needed for cooking purposes. 1/2

  2. We encourage you to promote local businesses and engage responsibly with the local community. Please do not litter the farmstay or the village. We request you to generate minimum plastic waste as the garbage disposal system for the village will not be able to cater to it. Do note that as the cottages are located amidst a farm, you would have to walk about 100 metres through the trails to get to the property from the main road. Please make sure that you pack your luggage accordingly and are able to carry it, as your vehicle would be parked at the road itself. CHECK-IN TIME : 12:00 PM ONWARDS CHECK-OUT TIME : 10:00 AM NO PETS ALLOWED. 2/2
