How I Built a Million Dollar Business on Amazon In Just 2 Years I'm going to share with you how I built a million dollar business on Amazon in just 2 years. I'll tell you what products I sell, how I find new products to sell, and what marketing techniques I use to drive traffic to my Amazon listings. So if you're interested in learning how to start and grow your own Amazon business, keep reading! I started my Amazon business in July of 2015. At the time, I was working a full-time job as an engineer, and I was only selling products on the side. In my first month, I made about $1,000 in sales. By the end of my second year, my business had grown to over $1 million in annual sales. Here's a breakdown of my revenue for each year: • 2015: $12,000 • 2016: $480,000 • 2017: $1,000,000+ As you can see, my business has grown exponentially over the past two years. And it all started with just a few thousand dollars in seed money. So how did I do it? here are three main things that I did to grow my business so quickly: 1. I found a niche with low competition and high demand. 2. I created a brand around my products, which helped me stand out from the competition.
3. I invested in marketing and advertising to drive traffic to my listings. Let's take a closer look at each of these factors. I started my business by selling products in the health and fitness niche. This is a large and growing niche with plenty of room for new sellers. And because there were already established brands in this space, I knew that people were willing to spend money on quality products. To find new products to sell, I used a combination of Amazon's search engine and Google's keyword tool. I would start with a broad keyword like "fitness" or "exercise" and then narrow down my options by looking at the average monthly search volume and the competition for each keyword. Once I found a few potential products, I would order samples from the suppliers and test them out myself. This allowed me to make sure that the products were high quality and that they met my customer's needs. Once I had a product that I was happy with, I created a brand around it. I came up with a name, logo, and website for my business. And I started building an email list of customers who were interested in my products. Finally, I invested in marketing and amazon advertising to drive traffic to my listings. I started with pay-per-click (PPC) ads on Google and Amazon. And I also began building an organic following on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Over the course of two years, I took my business from zero to over $1 million in annual sales. And I did it by selling products that I was passionate about in a niche with high demand and low competition. If you're interested in starting your own Amazon business, I encourage you to follow these same steps. Find a niche with high demand and low competition, create a brand around your products, and invest in marketing and advertising to drive traffic to your listings. With a little hard work and dedication, you can achieve the same level of success that I have. Thanks for reading!
