If a product has been listed for awhile on Amazon, then there's a high chance that there aren't very many people actually selling it. On the other hand, if the product is sold by hundreds of people, then you'll have to compete with all of them for sales. And if they keep their prices low enough, you might not be able to make any money at all on your own! So try finding products that are sold by a few sellers - but not too many. 4) Find new products that haven't been listed for very long yet. Ideally, you don't want to get into an industry where thousands of sellers are already fighting against each other for sales because it's going to be impossible for someone new to break through without having a ton of money and/or experience in this particular field. You want something that's brand new so there's less competition, which means it will be easier for you to stand out and get your product recognized.
