  2. I acknowledge the Secwepemc Nation, upon whose traditional and unceded land Thompson Rivers University is located (ne Secwepemcúl'ecw). I am grateful for the Secwepemc Nation’s generosity and hospitality while we live, learn and work in their territory.

  3. prologue • discovering and enlightening as I stepped into teaching with a desire and experience to bridge the gap in education and transcend the knowledge to application. • I advocate and scholar for my students by stimulating their critical thinking and cognitive reasoning, as I have observed their transition to clinical practice. • self-directed learning, continuous education and professional development to sustain creativity, originality and best education practices • inter professional collaboration, creating meaningful and flexible learning spaces, and a student centered model is important in teaching and enhancing the program.

I believe in student-centered learner activities I value discovery and integration of critical thinking, cognitive reasoning, and decision making I believe in integrity, values, and ethics in nursing and client care to become global citizens I believe in teaching and application of scholarly, interactive and active learning

EPILOGUE • technology has intertwined the threads of teaching learning and advancements at the level of understanding and sustaining learning among students in the 3-G era • learning technology and blended learning in my courses to engage make it feasible for my student’s outcomes to believe, imagine and achieve their learning • challenges with information technology; creating web based and simulated activities, which requires balancing the state of art with my varied roles
