  2. About • Fracture is a painful condition that can be classified into three categories as far as pain is concerned. But there are some accidental cases or incurable conditions that can lead to surgery. The field of orthopedic surgery requires experienced specialists, and they are in high demand. A 10-year-of schooling and a long training period make orthopedic surgeons.  • Human Bone is basically made of 2 minerals - calcium & phosphorus. Before we dive into fracture treatments, let's first understand the healing process of bone healing: • These are:- Mild pain fractures, Moderate pain fracture, Severe pain fracture,

  3. Healing Process • Mild pain fractures - in this category the pain element is the least. Hair line fracture is an example of mild fracture. • Moderate pain fracture - in this case small bone fractures can be included in which the main is moderate like fracture of phalanges etc. • Severe pain fracture - in this case, fracture is open in nature and the pain is severe and in some conditions can be unbearable.

  4. Types Of Broken Bone Treatments • There are basically three types of bone fracture treatments by which a fracture can be treated: • Casting - after the broken bone is restored to its original position, a plaster or more recently used fibre glass cast (Japanese cast) is being used. • External fixations - pins and wires are used in this type of fixations. In this part, the pins and wires are being used to put the bone through the skin from above and below. This helps in keeping the bone intact in its position. • Internal fixation -this is a hard core surgical procedure, in these metal rods, wires and screws are being used.
